King-Size DVD in Works for 'Battlestar Galactica'
NBC Universal Media is planning an extended-edition DVD to accompany Sci Fi Channel's upcoming "Battlestar Galactica" two-hour extended episode airing this fall.
To help build anticipation for the return of the series in early 2008, the studio will release a DVD version of the self-contained episode that includes about 15 minutes of original material -- perhaps more, depending on the final cut. The episode will air in November.

Hanging With the Cool Kids on 'Galactica'
When asked about the Sci Fi Channel series "Battlestar Galactica," which airs on the same network as his series, "Eureka" (and films across town) actor Colin Ferguson smiles and says, "They're the cool kids."

Campbell Begs For Battlestar Role
Bonnie Hammer, president of USA Network and SCI FI Channel, told reporters that The 4400 star Billy Campbell approached her after the network's upfront advertising presentation in New York last month and begged her for a role in the final season of Battlestar Galactica.
"He literally assaulted me, trying to do whatever he possibly could to bribe me to have me bribe [executive producers] Ron [Moore] and David [Eick] to create a character arc inside Battlestar Galactica," Hammer said in a press conference during SCI FI Channel's digital press tour in Vancouver, Canada, on June 26. "That is the only show he ever wanted to be in. That is the only show he would do for free. Billy Campbell, literally, saying, 'Give me an arc, any kind of arc, in Battlestar Galactica, please.' And it was very hard to get away from."
At the same press conference, SCI FI's executive vice president, original programming, Mark Stern, confirmed that the producers of the show are trying to work Campbell into the show.
"Actually, I think we're trying to figure that out," Stern said. "And the free part was really great. Although I don't know if his agent really liked that. But we were like, 'OK, we can do that.'"
Hammer added: "I had witnesses, too."

Battlestar Galactica (2007 DVD movie)
A Battlestar Galactica movie will be released at the end of this year. This is what we know about the movie so far.
At the moment the upcoming television film is called Razor. The name will probably change later on.
According to Ronald D. Moore, "It's a storyline that delves into the Battlestar Pegasus quite a bit - back to the beginning, seeing the Cylon attack, what happens to Pegasus during the Cylon attack, and events that were talked about in backstories when those episodes were originally broadcast. It moves through time actually, sequentially. You get up to the point where Lee Adama is in command of Pegasus and then you start dealing with his first mission as commander of the Pegasus. Eventually things that are said and done in "Razor" set up certain things that happen in the fourth season."
Razor is expected to be two hours long and will actually contain some homosexuality for a change. Razor will be written by Michael Taylor and shooting started in May 2007. The shooting of Season 4 will start in June.

Sorry! Blame it on the cylon!

Dylan is a Cylon
After his song "All Along The Watchtower" was used in the final episode, to summon the 4 of the last 5 Cylons, people began to question how to interpret Dylan and BSG Universe. Is there a Dylan in BSG Universe too Is there a direct connection to Earth? or is it just a ethereal source that inspired two song-writers in two universes?
I have my shot at answering all these questions. I think Dylan the 5th final Cylon, used as the model for the hybrid. It is well known that hybrids are the first step from the Centurions into humanoids, and it is highly likely that the Christian interpretation of God creating humans as a model of himself would be referenced here, and the first Cylon-Human would be modeled after the Cylon God.
Dylan himself is known to utter like the Hybrids, here is a mix of lyrics out of Blonde on Blonde:
"The ghost of electricity howls in the bones of her face. And punched my cigarette. Now your dancing child with his Chinese suit. In the empty lot where the ladies play blind man's bluff with the key chain. The one was Texas medicine. Upon the street where mothers weep. The cracked bells and washed-out horns. You can tell by the way she smiles. The silver saxophones say I should refuse you. The drunken politician leaps. Well, I return to the Queen of Spades.He spoke to me, I took his flute. He just smoked my eyelids. Now the rainman gave me two cures. But Mona Lisa musta' had the highway blues. The other was just railroad gin. Blow into my face with scorn."
Sounds just like a hybrid, doesn't it?
